Standard Weights

Standard weights are a piece of lab gear used for weighing scale calibration and verification. These are a collection of metal weights that are carefully constructed to a precise and known weight. The weights typically range from 1 milligram to many kilogrammes. By comparing the measured weight to the known weight of the standard weight, these weights are used to check the weighing instrument's accuracy. High-quality stainless steel or brass are commonly used to make these boxes, and the weights are built to stack for simple storage and transit. Each weight is stamped with its nominal weight and, for quality assurance and auditing purposes.
