The Microprocessor Based Friability Test Apparatus, gauges a tablet propensity to shatter or chip under mechanical strain. Modern microcontroller technology and cutting-edge engineering methods are used in the instrument to improve accuracy and reproducibility. The system has 16 soft touch membrane type keys and a 4-line, lighted alphanumeric LCD. One or two drums can be used to operate the friability testing. Drum rotational speeds can be adjusted to various speeds (20-60 RPM). Without having to remove the drums, Microprocessor Based Friability Test Apparatus is easy to load the samples, and after the test is finished, the samples are unloaded automatically into the collection tray.
